Biography
Matt Moscicki practices in various areas of intellectual property law, including patent litigation, U.S. and foreign patent preparation and prosecution, and counseling and opinion work in the mechanical and biological arts. Mr. Moscicki’s experience also includes trademark prosecution, trade secret matters, and franchise matters. His technical experience includes such fields as petroleum exploration and production; mechanical systems, including chemical product and waste management; medical and dental devices; and mechanical devices, including automotive, flow control, sensing, and computer-related.
Mr. Moscicki also has specialized experience in the areas of heat transfer, thermodynamics, and internal combustion engines. He was instrumental in designing a control circuit for an on-board gasoline distillation system used in ethanol-powered vehicles, now included in a U.S. patent assigned to Ford Global Technologies, Inc.
Mr. Moscicki is admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and Texas State Courts. He is currently serving on the Texas Intellectual Property Bar Review Committee in support of the Texas Intellectual Property Law Journal.
