Our Houston office is currently seeking a Patent Attorney, Patent Agent, or Technical Advisor/Patent Engineer with a background in electrical or computer engineering to prepare and prosecute patent applications covering emerging technologies.
Candidates should have a B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in electrical and/or computer engineering. Experience with patent application preparation and prosecution is preferred but not required. Attorney candidates should preferably be licensed in Texas.

Entry Level Legal Assistant - Dallas Office
The Dallas office is currently seeking an individual to provide administrative support to an intellectual property attorney. This entry level legal assistant position will train under and report to the senior IP legal assistant. College courses or other degree of higher level education is required. General office experience is required.
Candidates should have strong organization skills and be detail-oriented and proficient in drafting business correspondence/communications, creating spreadsheets and assembling documents for various meetings and projects. Candidates should be familiar with the business-related features of electronic media and will be expected to learn patent prosecution practices.

Patent Attorney/Patent Agent - Houston Office
Conley Rose, P.C. is a leading intellectual property law firm with fifty professionals and offices in Houston, Dallas, and Austin. Our Houston office is currently seeking an experienced patent attorney or patent agent with a Mechanical Engineering background.
The candidate should have at least a B.S. in mechanical engineering, and have 2-5 years of experience where the candidate’s primary responsibility was the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the mechanical arts. Oilfield experience is preferred.
The candidate should preferably be registered with the U.S. Patent Office. Experience with foreign prosecution, preparing written opinions for patents, client counseling and related transactional work is desirable.

Engineering Technical Advisor - Dallas Office
The Dallas office of Conley Rose, P.C. is currently seeking individuals with a technical degree, preferably in mechanical or chemical engineering, to assist with writing patent applications.
The Technical Advisor will be responsible for preparing patent applications under patent attorney supervision, including: interviewing inventors, analyzing technical aspects of inventions, drafting technical descriptions of inventions, working with draftsman to develop effective drawing figures illustrating inventions, revising patent applications based on client and/or supervising attorney feedback, and generally becoming familiar with our clients' technologies.

Billing & Docketing Administrator/Entry Level - Dallas Office
