Mr. Guthrie practices in various aspects of intellectual property law, including patent prosecution and litigation in the electrical arts.
Mr. Guthrie received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2000 and earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston Law Center in May 2007. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Guthrie was designated a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy serving as First Division Officer aboard a nuclear powered aircraft carrier and as Damage Control Assistant aboard a guided missile frigate. While serving in the Navy, Mr. Guthrie deployed to Southeast Asia.
