Richard J. Moura is a registered patent attorney whose practice focuses on patent preparation and prosecution in the electrical and electronic arts, including mobile communications, satellite communications, computer hardware and software, networks, semiconductor processing and circuits, optics, cable television, and signal encryption and decryption.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Moura practiced law with Fogg and Powers, a Minneapolis-based intellectual property boutique, and the intellectual property groups of Jenkens and Gilchrist and Baker Botts. Prior to that, Mr. Moura was a litigator with Banner, Birch, McKie and Beckett, a Washington, D.C. intellection property boutique. Before he practiced law, Mr. Moura was a supervisory electronics engineer with a U.S. government agency for 14 years and responsible for investigations of Department of Defense space communication programs.
Mr. Moura is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and is licensed to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
