Conley Rose, P.C., is pleased to announce that Jerry C. Harris, Jr. has rejoined the firm, bringing more than two decades of experience advising clients on complex patent, trademark, and intellectual property matters.

Jerry previously practiced with Conley Rose and brings extensive experience representing both patent owners and parties accused of infringement. His practice spans the patent lifecycle, from patent preparation and prosecution through litigation, giving him a broad perspective that allows him to identify potential issues early and develop intellectual property strategies aligned with clients’ business objectives and competitive positions.

“We are very pleased to welcome Jerry back to Conley Rose,” said Thad Faleski, President of Conley Rose. “Jerry is an experienced and highly regarded intellectual property attorney who understands both the legal and business considerations involved in developing and protecting valuable IP assets. His return strengthens the depth of experience we are able to provide our clients across a wide range of intellectual property matters.”

Jerry’s practice includes patent preparation and prosecution, patent litigation, invalidity and freedom-to-operate analyses, and the development and implementation of international intellectual property strategies. He has represented clients across a range of technologies and industries, including computerized business methods, polymer compositions, and small molecules, and has particular experience addressing patent eligibility issues under 35 U.S.C. § 101.

In addition to his patent practice, Jerry advises clients on trademark matters and broader intellectual property strategy. His prior experience as an adviser to the NFL Players Association also contributes to his experience negotiating intellectual property and other business matters.

Jerry earned his J.D., cum laude, from The Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law, where he was a member of the Order of the Barristers, Senior Editor of The Penn State International Law Review, and Captain of the National Appellate Moot Court Team. He also holds an M.Ed., with honors, from the University of North Texas and a B.A. in Biology and Physics from Texas A&M University.

Jerry is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and is admitted to the State Bars of Texas and Delaware.
