Conley Rose, P.C., pursues a deep commitment to increasing diversity, equity, and inclusion within the legal profession, the intellectual property law sector, and the firm itself, as evidenced by:

  • As of November 2023, with “underrepresented minorities” defined by gender, race/ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, and military/veteran status for all firm full-time equivalents:
    • 62% of the employees of Conley Rose, P.C., are underrepresented minorities. 
    • 56% of all new lawyers, patent agents, and technical advisors hired by the firm in 2023 are underrepresented minorities. 
    • 63% of all new professional staff hired by the firm in 2023 are underrepresented minorities.
  • The Management Committee (MC) of Conley Rose, P.C. is 33% diverse.
  • For over five years, the firm has supported and worked closely with the Houston Bar Association’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion program and has consistently hired minority summer law clerks through the program. The firm has invited several of them back for a second summer clerkship and is pleased to have successfully hired a full-time attorney from this program.
  • The firm values relationships above all else, including our relationships with clients, referral sources, colleagues, vendors, and other contacts and our internal relationships among all lawyers and professional staff.
  • Each member of the MC and all other Principals of the firm actively encourage, promote, participate in, and support a collegial, friendly, inclusive, diverse, and professional workplace and hiring process.
  • In addition to English, members of Conley Rose, P.C. can communicate to varying degrees in: Arabic, Bangla/Bengali, French, German, Gujarati, Hebrew, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Korean, Mandarin Chinese, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Tagalog, Urdu, and Vietnamese.
  • Firm leadership and staff regularly collaborate with the firm’s Diversity Committee.
  • The firm includes ALL firm professionals to the Conley Rose website.
  • Conley Rose, P.C. employs a full-time director of client service who is a member of an underrepresented minority.
