Brandt Howell has helped clients secure valuable intellectual property rights by preparing and successfully prosecuting hundreds of complex U.S. and international patent applications for over fifteen years. He has been selected as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers® in 2016, and from 2020 to 2022.

Relying on his background in computer engineering, Brandt prosecutes patents in the fields of computer science, electrical engineering, software, mechanical arts, telecommunication systems, cloud computing, optics, routing protocols, semiconductor photonics, audio processing, video processing, video coding, analog and digital signal processing, microprocessor circuitry, and test and measurement systems, as well as other technical areas.

James Hooper provides representation, counsel, advice, and guidance in all aspects of intellectual property law. For over a decade, he has prepared, prosecuted, and filed patent and trademark applications for clients operating in a range of diverse industries, sectors, and technologies.
